Assessment first

A rehab doctor examines you before treatment begins. You leave the first visit knowing what is wrong, how many sessions it should take, and what it will cost.

What we treat

If it has lasted more than a few weeks, it is worth having it looked at properly.

Most people wait too long. When pain does not settle on its own, the body starts compensating around it, and the longer that goes on, the more there is to undo.

Treatment

What treatment usually involves

Hands-on therapy

Direct work on the joints and muscles that are restricted or holding tension. It often gives the quickest relief. It is not a massage, and we will tell you beforehand when a part of it is likely to be uncomfortable.

Manual therapySpinal manipulationJoint mobilisation

Dry needling

A thin needle is placed into the muscle to release a trigger point that hands cannot reach. We use it for stubborn knots and for pain felt some distance from where it originates.

Dry needling

Machine-assisted therapy

Shockwave, magneto, ultrasound, electrotherapy and traction. Each has a specific job, and we use them when your assessment gives us a reason to. Equipment supports treatment. It does not replace the work you and your therapist do together.

Rehabilitation programmes

For people recovering from surgery, a stroke, or an injury that has kept them from their sport or their job. Slower and more structured, measured against what you need to get back to.

How it works

We assess before we treat.

The first step takes about ten minutes and you can do it now.

  1. 01

    Send us your history first

What is bothering you, when it started, and any imaging or notes you already have.

  2. 02

    Assessment and consultation

Our rehab doctor examines you and explains what the findings mean in plain language, including where we are uncertain. In person or over a video call.

  3. 03

    Treatment

Usually six to eight sessions, on a schedule built around how often you can genuinely attend.

  4. 04

    Reassessment

The same doctor measures what has changed against where you started, at no charge. You leave with a home routine.

Some conditions are not cured. They are managed.

Managed well, they stop running your life.

After your sessions

What happens once the pain has settled.

If you have scoliosis, spondylosis, arthritis, or a disc that has already changed shape, treatment will not return your spine to the condition it was in at twenty. It can bring the pain down, restore how well you move, and keep you working and sleeping normally. That result holds for as long as you keep moving.

The pattern we kept seeing

You finish your sessions, feel much better, and then work gets busy. The exercises stop, and a year later the pain returns. So we built something for the part that comes after.

  1. A slot that is already yours

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You choose the interval, and it stays booked rather than depending on you remembering to call.

  2. Exercises that get updated

A routine handed to you at discharge stops being the right one eventually. Your doctor revises it as you go.

  3. Your records stay with us

If something flares up, we already have your history, imaging and what worked last time. No starting over.

  4. We will notice if you disappear

People feel awkward coming back after a long gap. If a month passes, we will get in touch.
